It does this through arts, education and community renewable projects. Over the last few years they’ve shown more than 10,000 visitors around the Westmill site, through a combination of open days, on-site events and guided tours.

Analysis by Carbon Brief shows that in May 2016, the UK’s solar panels generated more electricity than coal for the first time ever. Solar generated an estimated 1,336 gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity in May, 50% more than the 893GWh output from coal.
