Trading has resumed

Following the temporary trading halt that began in August, we are pleased to announce that the secondary market in Westmill Solar shares, hosted by Ethex, is again open for trading. The trading halt was in preparation for the capital repayment, voted for and approved at the 2017 AGM, which has now been processed, and therefore normal trading activities have resumed.

Solar eclipses coal for first time ever in May

Analysis by Carbon Brief shows that in May 2016, the UK’s solar panels generated more electricity than coal for the first time ever.
